When The Knape Group found new financial backing and decided to follow Cher and Prince into one-name land, co-creative director Les Kerr and I felt our new logo couldn’t just sit there. The name card said, “Me, too.” Copy on the reverse side read:
“With a name like Knape, you’ll probably understand why we might be so preoccupied with pronunciation. But we’re just having a little fun to make this announcement: Along with our brand new parent company, Valentine Radford, we’ve launched a brand new advertising agency. One dedicated to clarity, to simplicity and to, once and for all, showing people how to say our name.”
